How does Vetstreet enable me to provide my clients with the convenience of online home delivery?
Clients use their Pet Portals to request prescriptions and refills from your practice. Your staff uses the Vet Portal to approve or deny prescription refills and monitor sales activity. You set the prices and remain the product provider in your clients' eyes, while Vetstreet manages the inventory and coordinates shipments directly to your clients.

How do the email reminders and pet birthday emails work?
Using information that already exists in your practice management software, Vetstreet automatically sends email reminders and pet birthday emails to your active clients.
Each email uses your practice's email address as the return address, so from your clients' point of view the email comes directly from your practice, but from your point of view it was effortless. Vetstreet's emails go out automatically, so you don't even need to run reports!
Email reminders are sent 3-4 weeks before the pet's services are due. If the services remain unfulfilled two months after the due dates, up to two additional reminders are sent, for no extra charge.
Pet birthday emails are sent on the individual pet's birthday. Enhance your clients' experience with a FREE upgrade to animated e-cards!
How does the targeted email marketing work?
With Vetstreet's email marketing tool, it's never been easier for you to email your own messages to some or all of your clients. Write your message, choose your audience, and click the send button! Vetstreet takes care of all the rest. Four campaigns per year are included in your service.
Who makes the private pet health websites (Pet Portals)?
Your clients Pet Portals are generated automatically, using information that already exists in your practice management software. When information in a client's record changes, his Pet Portal is updated automatically.
Issuing a Pet Portal to a client is easy! Just add the client's email address to their record in your practice software. Vetstreet automatically sends your client a welcome email that includes the client's user name, password, and a link to your practice's website.
How will my clients access their Pet Portals?
Your clients go to your practice's website to log in to their Pet Portals. Before your practice's service launches, Vetstreet supplies you with a login button and simple instructions for placing it on your website.
Where do the pet health articles come from?
Vetstreet's pet health education database includes articles developed by Veterinary Learning Systems, publisher of Compendium, Veterinary Forum, and Veterinary Technician. All articles have been reviewed and approved by veterinary professionals.
How does home delivery work?
You use a simple control panel to select products and set prices. Your clients use their Pet Portals to request prescription and diet refills, and order retail items. Your practice uses the Vet Portal to approve or deny all requests, and monitor sales activity. Vetstreet takes care of the inventory and ships directly to your client.
How does my practice manage the Vetstreet services?
Vetstreet's services are powerful--but they're surprisingly easy to manage. The one-time setup of your practice's online store takes less than an hour. Once this is done, there are just two simple daily tasks for a team member to perform:
- Add client email addresses to their records in your practice management system.
- Log in to the Vet Portal once or twice a day to respond to client requests and approve refills. (Most practices report that this takes less than 15 minutes a day.)

Getting Started
What do I need to get started with Vetstreet?
You need:
- High-speed Internet connection on at least one workstation.
- A website (practices using Vetstreet's services get a FREE website, if desired).
- Compatible practice management software: ALIS-VET, AVImark, Better Choice / AVS, Britton's Wise, ClienTrax, Complete Clinic, Cornerstone, DVMax, DVM Manager, Eklin VIA, ImproMed Infinity, IntraVet, Sunpoint, or VETECH.
How do I sign up for Vetstreet?

How much time does the Vetstreet setup take?
In most cases, it takes no more than one hour to set up the Vetstreet connection on your practice management software. Setup is conducted over the telephone and the Internet. We'll need about 15 minutes of your time and another 45 minutes on a single workstation.
Setup occurs on one workstation only, so you can continue to use the practice's other workstations during the entire process.
How will my staff learn how to use Vetstreet?
Vetstreet is built to integrate seamlessly into a practice's routine. Training is a series of online presentations 3 to 5 minutes in length. You can use the training tools on your practice's schedule and view them as often as you like. And you can always call or email Vetstreet's support team with questions.
How will my clients learn about the services Vetstreet provides?
After you add a client's email address to his record, we send the client a welcome email with all the information he will need to log in to his new Pet Portal.
We supply you with signup pads and other materials to help you get the word out.
How do my clients get their private pet health websites (Pet Portals)?
Just add your clients' email addresses to their records in your practice management software. We automatically generate their Pet Portals and send your clients an email with login information.
Every email we send on your behalf uses your practice's email address as the return address, so from your clients' point of view, the message comes from you, but from your point of view it was automatic.

Can Vetstreet send Pet ID cards to my clients?
Yes! Get started with Vetstreet's online service, and you can add on pet ID cards at any time. Build client loyalty with handy, wallet-sized ID cards embedded in handsome letters. Sent to ALL eligible clients (not just those with email addresses on file), ID cards display pet's current exam and vaccination status, and include your practice name and contact info.
