YARDLEY, PA - January 18, 2008 - MediMedia Animal Health announced today the formation of Vetstreet™. This company combines two of MediMedia Animal Health's recent acquisitions: VetInsite, Inc. and VetSuite®.
VetInsite, acquired in December 2007, is a leading animal health communications company that specializes in strategic communications between veterinary hospitals and their clients and is currently utilized by over 1,000 veterinary hospitals. VetSuite®, acquired in January 2008, is a powerful collection of Internet-based tools and resources that enable veterinary practices to attract new business and improve services for current clients through its website hosting platform; it currently supports more than 1,900 hospital websites.
Vetstreet™ will operate as an independent division of MediMedia Animal Health. Vetstreet™ has three primary business objectives: to enable simple, streamlined communication for veterinarians and pet owners; to provide an online prescription refill and home delivery advantage over competitive online resellers; and to promote improved pet health care by providing business intelligence to the veterinary industry.
